KAOS x Androgyne – SARIN live • Choronzon • Moksha B2B Moody

KAOS was first launched in 2003 at Madame Jojo’s, Soho, London. It was one of the first underground parties of its style. They now host a monthly event in Electrowerkz. It is a former 19th century metal works, fitted with a powerful turbosound system. Ancient Methods, Rrose, Orphx, Paula Temple, In Aeternam Vale, Under Konstruction and Size Pier are some of the artists who have taken part in KAOS events.

Kaos hosts a monthly online visual art residency featuring the work of a different artist each month. Previous contributors include Olivier de Sagazan, Ray Ceasar, Jan Kempenaers, Nicola Bertellotti, Mustafa Sabbagh, Stefan Gunnesch, Hanan Kazma, Evelyn Bencicova and Moran Sanderovich.

In 2016 a label was created ‘Khemia Records’ which produces limited edition vinyls and eps by artists involved with KAOS events.

KAOS is not just the name of the party, it also represents the global vision of the party. By mutual acquaintances, this will be the first time Androgyne invite KAOS to Macadam.

KAOS défend une vision globale de la fête, pas seulement centrée autour de la musique. La rencontre avec Androgyne, facilitée par des connaissances communes, a ainsi paru toute naturelle et a permis la première collaboration entre les deux entités, le 16 mai prochain à Macadam.

KAOS a été lancé en novembre 2003 à Madame Jojo à Soho. D’abord organisées partout à Londres, ces fêtes underground se déroulent désormais une fois par mois à Electrowerk, une ancienne aciérie. Ancient Methods, Rrose, Orphx, Paula Temple, In Aeternam Vale, Under Konstruction ou encore Size Pier sont quelques artistes qui ont participé à ces événements. Les visuels des flyers sont réalisés par Ray Caesar, Laurie Lipton ou même Lee Adams lui-même, un des fondateurs de KAOS.

En 2016, KAOS lance Khemia Record, leur label, d’où sortent des productions de vinyles limitées des artistes venus aux événements.
